Weekly Bread Club

FAQ

Eating Bread Has Never Been So Satisfying
Q: How do I join the Bread Club?
Shop online HERE and add Weekly Bread Club (WBC) to your shopping cart.  Once you set your preferences and pay for the first week, we’ll follow up with Weekly Bread Club details and confirm your start week.  Each week, you'll be charged $15 plus taxes. We'll even set up weekly reminders for you!  All you'll need to do is pick up on Fridays or Saturdays from one of two locations:
In Fayetteville, at Rockin' Baker Bakery.
In Bentonville,  at Sweet Freedom Cheese @ 8th Street Market.

Voila, that's how you subscribe to the Weekly Bread Club and baking a difference so everyone can rise!

Q: Why should I become a WBC participant instead of purchasing bread on a weekly basis?
When you participate in the Weekly Bread Club, you are:
  • Making your life easier by knowing you’ll always have two fresh artisanal loaves, one sourdough and one baker-inspired, each week because you sign up once and your order becomes automatic. Set it and you're done!
  • Supporting us in employing and training cadets; and helping us sustain and grow the current bread donation program to fight food insecurity in NWA.
Do good by eating bread? Pinch me.

Q: I’m going out of town for the weekend and I can’t pick up my weekly loaves?
  1. Invite a friend to come and pick the bread up and let them experience our delicious bread – perhaps they’ll sign for the Weekly Bread Club too!
  2. With a notice from you by Monday, you can pause your weekly membership and then pick it back up when you’re ready to start it again.

Q:  Can I change my bread option and try something different?
We’ve created the Weekly Bread Club to give you a bit of both - something  traditional and something with a bit of flair.  The Bread Club is designed and created to  always give you one loaf of Sourdough Frisco, which is our popular, traditional bread and one Weekly Loaf, our baker-inspired loaf using holiday themes and local seasonal ingredients. Weekly loaf will be posted each Monday.

If you have an allergy and need to change the Weekly Loaf, you can call in to see what’s available to switch out.

Q:  I’m moving out of town and need to stop participating or I just want to stop:
You can stop and restart your participation anytime.  To stop, let us know when you pick up your order or give us a call when you need to stop.

To restart your participation, just add Weekly Bread Club to your shopping cart when you go online to buy bread. Your subscription will begin again at that time.

Q:  Is the Weekly Bread Club tax deductible?
Since you are receiving Rockin’ Baker bread in exchange for a  fee, NO you cannot deduct the subscription fee.  However, keep in mind that when you join the  Bread Club, you are supporting our ability to keep people in the training program learning skills and preparing for future jobs.  Also, this work allows us to keep producing bread, both as donations and to community restaurants.

If you would like to give a fully tax-deductible gift, you can donate HERE.  Taxable donations are used to support the training program and to purchase products to make our donation products.  All donations are accepted with gratitude.

Q. What are pick up days and where?
Currently, there are two pickup days and two pickup sites:
1. In Fayetteville, at Rockin' Baker Bakery on Friday and Saturday mornings between 9-1 pm.
2. In Bentonville,  at Sweet Freedom Cheese @ 8th Street Market between 10:30-5 pm

Q.  What if I forget to pick up my bread?
No worries, we have you covered.  You’ll get an email reminder.  And if you are unable or it just skips your mind, we’ll freeze your loaves and you can pick them up the following week.
